Nathan was welcomed to earth in May of 1985 by his brother Clay, sister Anna, & Mom & Dad. Two months later he had shunt surgury to relieve symptoms of hydrocephalus. From his baby seat, he listened to lots of piano lessons and choir rehearsals lead by mom and lots of sermons by dad.

A couple of years later the family moved from Kentucky to Lafayette, Indiana. Nate went to a cool preschool and sang in the kids' choir at church. In 1993 the Williams moved to San Angelo, Texas where Nathan's social skills blossomed and he was fondly called the "Official Greeter" of Southland Baptist Church.  In spite of a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and learning delays, Nathan played well on special soccer and baseball teams.  His solo debut was with the "Cares Chorus" at church and he followed by singing in the school talent show. At his first camp ever, he was awarded "Best Camper" at Elks Camp. For four years in San Angelo, Nathan benefited from therapeutic horseback-riding programs.

At age 9, a week of "illness" revealed that Nathan needed a new shunt.  So two surgeries and one hundred visitors later,  he was ready to go again.

Nathan, now "Natedog", loved being in
choirs at school and church from grades 7 to 12. He received superior ratings on UIL solos and brought the house down his senior year at the school talent show.  The family's move to Dallas in 1999 put Nathan in two great Richardson schools.  He served two years at J.J. Pearce High School as manager for the basketball and football teams.  His Senior Class of 2004 voted him the "Most Friendly Senior Guy"!

Natedog now is a bellman at Richardson's Renaissance Hotel and takes enrichment classes at Richland College.  He sings in his church's adult choir, helps with a preschool choir, and enjoys assisting with two Young Life groups.
